It is utterly ridiculous to write a review about a guitar pick. But when given the opportunity, I had to. I ordered the Black Mountain Tagua flatpick on a whim. It looked kind of cool, and I thought I'd try them. The set of four I ordered arrived in a few days. I tried one and it was... weird. It was so FAT! It felt alien between my fingers, and I had trouble using it. I ended up gouging out one of the cork pads on the first one. That seemed to solve the issue well enough, but it was a little slippery without the cork on one side. I played it for a couple weeks until the slickness got on my nerves. So I decided to try another, un-mutilated one. It was amazing! It was as if the one I altered had given me "training wheels" and I could now use the undamaged picks comfortably. And I must say, they are without doubt the BEST F-ING PICKS I've ever used. Noticeably quicker, slicker, and more comfortable than any other pick. SIX stars out of five.
